Dear Microsoft

I want a real trash and a fake trash on Outlook. Every time I decide I can trash something, I find out that, no, actually, THAT was the thing I should have saved. So my idea is that there would be a fake trash, where I could put things to pretend that they'd been thrown away, and then a real trash that has an infinite storage and never, ever autodeletes.

Actually, contact Yahoo when you get this thing worked out, will you?

And it's not like I'm stupid - I save things a ridiculously long time. But Murphy's Law is my bestest friend evar. That's all I'm saying.

Also, pay me a million dollars when you're done because I am TEH GEEENYUS at telling you what people really want in their computers.

In the meantime, I will go make myself look like a total fool, getting the name of the book I just proofed so that I can generate an invoice.

I generate invoices! I should quit thinking that's cool.

Hey I think you can set Outlook not to clear out the trash so often.

*thinks* Try Options and look for something like "Empty trash on exit." Uncheck that! Then it will make you manually clear out the trash.

(i.e, "Are you REALLY SURE you don't need this? REALLY REALLY? Click Ok and kiss it goodbye...")

See, the thing is, Outlook's not configured on this computer to auto delete. It's me dumping stuff in the Trash and then finding out later that my obsessive compulsive desire to have an EMPTY OUTBOX OMG EMPTY INBOX OMGOMG has, you know, actual ramifications. The problem isn't with the computer but with me - but since a lot of people are blaming others for their problems these days, I thought I'd join the bandwagon.

Well, I kinda do that too, so I sympathize. Poor thing!

*Sends much loff*
