I'll check the site out! I'm more curious to know whether it would be likely that oil production could be de facto nationalised in America - at this point, we need cars to get places and we need gas for lots of our energy needs, but as profits decline, will oil refineries/producers/companies be in it for the long haul?

Somehow, I doubt it. Which would be interesting, at best, particularly given the government's efficiency rate at such things.
