I have to confess that there is one thing that I definitely missed in the UK, at least in terms of events (this saves me from pointing out that I didn't miss most of my family).

Today, I go to the Bite of Seattle for the first time since 2000.

I am so happy at this I might pee myself inappropriately.

I want Kaleenka's, and Dixie's, and crocodile, and ostrich if they've still got it...and all sorts of things!
