Halloween is only one day?
So as well as the Tudor monstrosity, which I need to finish today, I need to get a few things at the Halloween shop tonight. I mean, Halloween only comes once a year, and I have all the clothing and glitter and stuff...I'm dressing up Saturday too.
The pathetic part is that, with McArcus in Missouri for a wedding and Gwen working and etc, I have nowhere to go and no one to go with. But I shall pretend I do, and maybe I'll get really bored and go out somewhere just for fun, even if that sort of thing is more fun with someone else.
So I need to get fairy wings for Sat, and a snood (since I haven't got time to make a Tudor caul, which we'll all just have to suffer through) and tights for the tudor thing. I also need to go to the apartment and get the wig and the shoes and the basket for that.
And now it's sleeves and a skirt for me.
Tonight might be too interesting, we'll see. But hell, I don't care any more. I obviously can't do anything to impact what's happened, and the person who's offended and is probably still reading this doesn't have a clue what the hell is happening here.
I am not required to care about people who don't care about me, bear that in mind. Or, to quote Wolverine, from the back of a trading card from about ten years ago, "...good people, idealists, dreamers - forever looking for the best in others. With them, killing is a last resort. With me, it's second nature. I take the world as it is an' give better than I get. Come at me with a sword, I'll meet you with a sword. You want mercy - show a little first." You want caring, show a little first, before you go slandering the person who is supposed to care about you to everyone else in the family.
Also, I sorted the Unhinged cards yesterday at work. Anyone who plays Magic should buy these - they're hilarious. Very, very hilarious. I thought they were out already, but someone said they haven't been released yet. They should be soon, though.
