The problem with trying for a "more in sorrow than in anger" tone to a post on something as emotional as the election is that you have to spend so much time taking out the bits about "too fucking stupid to live."
It's just appalling. That's all it is, appalling. Over half of my country hates everyone who has a shred of intelligence, a shred of common decency, and a shred of concern for the rights of others, whether that's on a local scale or a global one.
It's no wonder I hate Americans, even as I love the idea of the country.
I wasn't allowed to write actually, and I think, as usual, my political views are expressed in a crab and not v useful *shrugs* but still... I couldn't help myself. Why?? Why did over half of the population vote for Bush? Why??
