(no subject)

I sort of live. OH GOD SO BUSY.

I would like, someday, to get an explanation for WHY I dreamt that [livejournal.com profile] safti had taken up modelling in Japan, and WHY [livejournal.com profile] mcmayhem was roadtripping in a Porsche with some friends from England, but I don't think explanations are forthcoming.

Yes, it's true. By friending me, you drop your name into the magical melting pot of Things I Might Dream About, even if I don't know you at all.

I feel guilty about everything at the moment, so this is par for the course. Maybe I can catch up with some shit this weekend.

And guess what, I've got no idea what the hell anyone's said, so if for some reason you think it's worth the labour to link it to me, I'll read it.

...I don't even know what my icons look like, any more.

do i get dreaed about?

((you have no idea how hard it is to type this...))

[identity profile] channonyarrow.livejournal.com 2006-08-01 05:48 pm (UTC)(link)
Why, are you drunk again? *g*

I have not had a dream about you yet, not lately, but I'm sure it's coming. Considering the rather graphic dream I had about a coworker last night, I seem to be in a phase of such.

[identity profile] jkivela.livejournal.com 2006-08-01 06:10 pm (UTC)(link)
well yes, when am I not?

I never rememeber dreams, which sucks, I think

[identity profile] channonyarrow.livejournal.com 2006-08-04 04:36 am (UTC)(link)
I always feel better when I remember mine. Makes me think that I am working still and not broken.

[identity profile] aftertorless.livejournal.com 2006-07-29 07:48 am (UTC)(link)
Your icons look fabulous, as usual. Although I'm rather irrationally pissed that you've not dreamt about me yet. (But I'm an attention whore like that.) And no, nothing really interesting to which I could link you; just a lot of the same old in-out in-out, really.

Don't you hate being so busy that you can't keep up with teh interwebs? I know I do.

[identity profile] channonyarrow.livejournal.com 2006-08-01 06:41 pm (UTC)(link)
Considering that I had a coworker-in-Vegas dream that was probably inspired by the novel I should NOT have been reading directly before bed (there's nothing wrong with erotica, but there is when it means you dream about coworkers) I am sure that I am in the middle of a phase of such dreams and they will continue.

Unless I start dreaming about the Apocalypse starting at work again. Or being the mother of Jesus. Ooh, that was so much fun.

Your time in the spotlight looms, I am QUITE sure. *g*

Also, being busy sort of sucks - it would suck less if I were more productive, as I usually am when I walk away from LJ for a while. But I am not productive AND not on LJ, so I'm not seeing the value of the trade here.

Well, that's not THAT weird, depending on what I was modelling for.

I've been stupidly busy with work and school, buying too many frappuccinos and slurpees to keep awake, and idolizing my Fantasy Lit prof. That's all that's really going on with me, my journal is just an elaborated version of that.

[identity profile] channonyarrow.livejournal.com 2006-08-01 07:15 pm (UTC)(link)
Clothing of some sort - I don't remember anything beyond that. I seemed to be some sort of hanger-on at the photo shoot. I remember the backdrop and you were there, but nothing specifically that was being sold, so I'm guessing the clothes that I don't remember. Aren't I swell? *g*

Ooh, frappuccinos...*homer simpsons* DAMMIT, now I must have one!

I hope your lit prof is super awesome in many ways.

Hahah, I wouldn't worry about it too much. At least I wasn't modelling to sell fish or something, that would be weird.

Oh, thank goodness. I was a little worried you might get irked that I drink a drink from a country that has enslaved North American society and is working on the rest of the world. I don't deny that second part, though. *grin* But frappuccinos are fricking addictive. I think that they put crack in them or something.

A thousand, possibly more. :D And I made him happy with my A paper! :D [It's almost bizarre that my adoration of him doesn't involve detailed sexual fantasies. But it doesn't. O_o]

I've had calamity month.

I'm glad you're busy - I hope you are doing well.

[identity profile] channonyarrow.livejournal.com 2006-08-04 04:37 am (UTC)(link)
I know. I keep meaning to catch up and all I can do at the end of the day is think dammit. And then I think thoughts in your direction. I know it's been a shit month, and I hope it gets better soon.

*lots and lots of virtual hugs and chocolate*

Did they at least catch the rapist?

hey - I triedt o look up R. Plantagenet, but there are several - which one does your icon refer to?

[identity profile] channonyarrow.livejournal.com 2006-08-04 04:41 am (UTC)(link)
The one in the icon is Richard II, who had, possibly, the most interesting death of any British monarch - his body, when it was displayed, was encased in lead from the neck down. Supposedly he wilfully starved to death, but the theory, given the situation prevailing in England at the time and the fact that no one really liked him, is that he was tortured to death and the lead was an attempt to hide that. He was not a good monarch, and in many ways influenced the crap that went down when Edward IV died suddenly about a century later. His brother (Richard III) took the throne; a lot of people supported that because after the experience of Richard II they didn't want a juvenile king and regency, as they would have gotten if Edward's oldest boy was crowned, but then a lot of shit happened and it all went horribly, horribly wrong. I really admire Richard III, and at first I thought that was the icon, but then I had to re-evaluate that. For one thing, it doesn't look at all like him, durn it.

There are, undoubtedly, other Richard Plantagenets in the world, but I'm pretty sure that the icon was tagged as Richard II.

I like how the British monarchy only had about six names until Prince Albert.

[identity profile] purplemoocow.livejournal.com 2006-08-04 07:29 pm (UTC)(link)

[identity profile] channonyarrow.livejournal.com 2006-08-07 10:36 pm (UTC)(link)
Oh, still learning this crazy "job" thing, mostly. It's awesome, having a job like this. It's one step from, like, massages and stuff every day, I swear. It rocks.

Back to school, eh? For, like, the first time in my life, I don't have that "OMG FALL IS COMING GOT TO GET READY FOR SCHOOL" feeling. Seriously.

I think I am now Old.

[identity profile] purplemoocow.livejournal.com 2006-08-08 02:07 am (UTC)(link)
I'd say that is a sign of Old-age.

[identity profile] channonyarrow.livejournal.com 2006-08-13 05:31 pm (UTC)(link)
Well, like, yeah, of course it is.
