Can I just say that either spring fashion or Lane Bryant sucks ass? There were NO decent trousers or skirts for job interviews. Actually, there was one pair of trousers that I could tolerate (despite being straight leg because apparently no one wants to order enough boot leg in my size and I have not been able to find a pair of trousers there for weeks in my size) but that I did not like, and a skirt that does not make me super happy, but that I wound up buying because I didn't care any more, I had gone to Eddie Bauer (why?) the Gap (why?) and JC Penneys (even more useless than LB, since everything in my size was either Easter colours, a suit, not a skirt, or, if possible, all three.) There were NO BLACK TROUSERS AND NO SKIRTS AT ALL.

And I have no idea if this is because spring fashion is not to my taste (entirely possible, the chains look is generally winter) or if LB is moving away from trendy back to muumuus.

The worst part is that I had NO time to look because by the time I got to the mall it was eight and the mall closes at nine.

YACK.

Okay, this is not to be believed.

This kid is sitting behind me (I work at Kinko's) and has just asked the assistant manager of the store to help him scan his ID and rework it so he can have a fake ID to get a tattoo.

When the manager refused, he asked to borrow the manager's ID to get the tattoo.

*facepalm*

Apparently the tattooist told him to either get a fake ID or find someone who looked sort of like him.

Whether that's the real reason for making the ID or not, I don't know, but still...we can only hope the artist and the kid get run over by a bus before they have the chance to reproduce.
