Okay, I really did try to google this one, but I'm not putting in good search terms, so I'm getting things like how to call other countries using your broadband connection.
Does anyone know the dialing code for the internet in the US? On a Mac, this is a two-digit number (+ a star, I think) that is in the PPP Terminal window (I think, I'd have to look at home.) While I was in the UK, I had to reset that number to a different one so that the computer knew to listen to the UK's phone system, and in the move home, I lost the piece of paper that had that number on it. I think I can put it in again, I just need the number first.
If no one knows the number off the top of their head, but has a Mac, I can walk you through finding it.
Oh yeah, and I'm moving soon. I have two apartments to look at in the next couple days, and hopefully one of them will be good. So, there's some exciting news. I need the calling code so I can get internet at the new place.
