My mother is singing Happy Birthday to the dog.

This is sort of worrying.

Okay, so, IF [livejournal.com profile] orionnoire is right, and personally, I'm voting that it's a load of April Fool's bullshit, I want everyone to know that I was right about who cacks it in Book Six.

There is money riding on this somewhere. I don't know how I feel about this, but...if it's true, it's the only logical choice.

*revels in being right for a moment until it's all revealed to be a prank*

Also, Sin City was cool. Going again. Will not lick screen this time and embarrass nephew.

Muahahaha.

And obligatory comment on the LJ button thing.

EDIT: Bugger, it's an April Fool's. SEE ABOVE ABOUT WHY I HATE APRIL FOOL'S. *snarls*

Okay, yeah, I'm the posting whore of the last fifteen minutes.

Bite me.

I think the fact that I responded with a "So what?" to the fact that [livejournal.com profile] somniesperus finished the sixth part of the "Tea" series of HP, one of the classics of HP fic (and writing that made me feel sort of dirty in a weird way) means I'm well out of that stage of my life.

Huh. Ah well, RIP.

It's always strange to have an obsession die.
It is, of course, essential that I lay my hands on a copy of G.A.A.Y., by Jarlath Gregory, for essential novel research. Oh yes. A book about the Dublin and London gay scenes?

Essential to my LIFE.

If only it wasn't only available on Amazon UK and shipped in "four to six weeks." I'm going to have to make a prowl when I get there (and will wind up ordering it ANYWAY, unless, miraculously, Blackwell's has it).

Also, I newly hate April Fool's Day. I really do. All those years of vague dislike has crystallised to the realisation that nothing that anyone does/says today can be taken seriously...even if they are serious.

I hate this "holiday". But on the bright side, it means a lot of people are playing "Holiday" by Green Day, and that's, to quote someone, "a good thing."
