Sadly, there were no pictures of either the fire or the dragsters that myseriously caught fire. It was all just shots of the traffic backup. And the newsman managed to mix up where Everett is. So the backup, Mr. Newsman Whose Job I Could Do If I Were A Cracked-Out Monkey, did not go from Marysville to Everett on the southbound lanes when the fire occurred near Marysville.
That would be because?
Yes! Marysville is NORTH of Everett!
So I had no flaming race car lurrrve tonight, which makes me vaguely sad. But as I can't remember the prayer that good Catholics say when there's a siren, maybe it's for the best.
Off to read more Rashid Khalidi, who I would so totally fangirl except that you don't really want fangirls when you're a successful author and speaker and teacher. And I DO NOT wish to find out OTHERWISE. Let me keep my delusions!
