Yeah, I figure I'm just avoiding Newark this trip. I've never rented a car outside of WA, and I don't really fancy learning what I'm doing if it's not necessary. Obviously, there's a degree of "not necessary" with going to Sayreville at all, but let's face it: it'll be fun. And totally with you on overestimating. I figure I'll mess around in Philly for a few hours, then hit the road around one pm, go to Sayreville, find my hotel, dump my stuff and get ready for the concert (and, probably, nap, since I have to change planes at 3:15 my time), do that, and crash, then come back the next day. I'm trying to keep it simple (not, for example, tacking on "And I'll go to Newark to buy shoes!") because I don't want to find out that I am only a good driver in Seattle. *g*
