I have another book to do. This will help me not at all with Christmas, as I won't even be able to invoice it until the 20th (unless I do it in one day when I get it on the ninth, in which case maybe), so depending on how bad my finances are at that point, I might be able to buy a plane ticket with that money.
I'll have to wait until into January, in the hopes of getting a definite confirm on whether or not I'm going to, you know, have a job in February before I can buy it, but...god willing and the creek don't rise, that's my plan.
I really need to get a second job. Or else more hours here. Where's all that work that's supposed to happen cause of Saviours of Kamigawa and Magic Ninth edition?
Oh, right. For everyone thinking that December is a three-check month, it only is if you don't work as a temp for a company that takes the week after Christmas off and doesn't compensate temps. Not that I'm upset about that or anything.
This weekend I'm going to the bookstores in West Seattle and seeing if they need anyone. Because you know, the economy's recovering. Really.
