Ah, dammit, I was just about to ask you how good the books/comics are. Is it even a comic?

This is one whose original I want to consume first - the trailers look just kinda noir + skin + guns. I mean big fuckin deal (maybe).

Guess I'll have to visit the library and fight other punters for the book...

It is a comic. It's good, if you like misogynistic violence and a LOT of that. It's more violent than Preacher, I would think. The movie is REALLY well done, though, in an interesting visual style, and of course we know that I think 5/6ths of the cast is omghawt.

Honestly, the movie per se is nothing special, but the visual style and the way they brought it to life is really good, and I always love violent film noir. Also, hot girls in lingerie with guns.

I doubt you'll find the GNs in the library, though - go to Borders and have a cup of coffee. The ones in the movie are "The Big Fat Kill", "A Dame To Kill For", and "That Yellow Bastard."
