Okay, so more spam. I know some of you live in Seattle, I know some of you listen to the radio in Seattle. I need help.

96.5 KRock (shut up, I hear the snickers already) went off the air to be replaced by something that doesn't deserve the number two spot on my car radio, but I might put it in the number twelve. So, I need a new radio station for my car. If you know of anything LIKE 96.5 (other than The End), what is it? If not, what do you suggest?

I already have, in approximate order: 104.9, 107.7, 99.9, 102.5, 103.7, 90.3, 89.5, 95.7, 101.5, and 106.9.

Bear in mind that KRock was the station that I listened to most, based partly on reception and partly on general-lack-of-desire-to-throw-things. I'd listen to the Monkey more, but there's this whole thing about how they don't actually have anything more complex than a bunch of string and some cans for the broadcasting, so I don't get it well in West Seattle.

The only information I can find out for what happened is on Andy Savage's site (if you're wondering) and he says they didn't know either. So...Infinity Broadcasting has lost their minds, apparently. And the only radio guides that I can find for Seattle via Google are Unpleasant Indeed.

And thus ends my streak of happy emoticons.

Doesn't exist. Sorrrrry...next best would be KGRG, which is 89.9, but given that it's a college station out of Auburn, it's hard to get.

I'd recommend KGRG as well.

That is, if you really really really really like emo.

And dead air.

There's also that whole "reception" thing, too. I can't imagine I'll actually get that one any quicker than I get the Monkey, which is in Tacoma and has shitty transmitters.

Well, when in the South End, that might work. I'll at least put it on the dial and see what happens. Since I work in Renton, I might get it on part of my trip, at least.
