Right. Didn't finish Tudor costume, but this was partly brought on by the realisation that I cannot stand to be in the thing for more than ten minutes without sweating heavily, and while that might be fine in situation where I am able to sit down a lot, or go outside a lot, and am only wearing it for about two hours, it's not so good for eight hours of work.
All my lovely, lovely work, gone smash and now I will look like a prat at work when I show up in the crack fairy outfit. But I can't help it, and if anyone asks, I'll simply say that the conclusion was made that it was NOT possible to wear it at work, because, well, I like not fainting.
Or I'll blame it on the lunar eclipse or the current dramarama or the presidential election or some fucking shit.
I wish I could remember all of the lj accounts I've registered. I thought I listed them all through my base "I have these accounts" account, but I know full good and well that I have at least one and possibly two other journals registered and I can't remember what they are. I'm such a dork. I thought, however, that I'd be curious to know who all reads this through an RSS feed. I know
lord_javac and
nullstr do and apparently flocked posts don't show up there. If it's only the two, they can manually steer themselves over here. I could drive everyone not on the basic flock crazy by just putting up a post immediately post any flocked entry saying "Locked entry" so that the RSSers know to go look, but that's me being evil. It's their problem if they want to lurk, and bear in mind that eavesdroppers never, ever find out anything good about themselves.
Also, given the ease by which I found that
deathbyexposure became
imbas, it's not really a great plan if the goal is to be sub-radar.
Jesus, I think my ego just eclipsed the planet earth.
I wonder what a Terran eclipse would look like. I wonder how often there's a lunar eclipse visible on Saturn or Jupiter. It's gotta be a lot, right?
Yeah, brain fried now. Good thing about crack-fairy outfit is lots of glitter. Bad thing is it's silly and basic and no one will believe me that I was going to do something else. Maybe I'll stop by the costume shoppe tomorrow and get a top hat or something. Since, you know, I've never gotten one, and it might be cool. At least, if it fits.
Ooh, I should get out my cloak.
Okay, Conor is coming to an end now, so I'm off to bed as soon as I throw a load of laundry in.
Once again, I have reached for the stars and grasped merely a handful of dust.
