There was a post on metaquotes that I am too lazy to link about how someone's priest (the person in question is gay and was attending mass with her partner) was soliciting another anti-gay-marriage opposition bill in church. They live in Massachusetts. I'm just so tired of the churches that decide they can't possibly accept that God made some people gay, if they want to look at it from that standpoint. I mean, God made everyone, according to them, and that means that we have to accept people, whether they're Hitler, Mother Theresa, John and Jane Doe, or Adam and Steve Parker. Because God made them all. He didn't make some people and not others.
And I have to admit, deep in my heart, I believe in a spiritual power, but I don't believe in organised religion.
