I have started a file of names.

In that file is a list of all the people who are screaming about X and Y being Q'd. I can't go into more detail than that.

In September, I fully expect to compare names with all of the people who start screaming with happiness over V. I expect to find across-the-board matches.

I will then make a stealth account on a different forum and laugh myself sick by pointing out that all of the posters screaming about X and Y are going to be gleeful in September.

Cryptic? Yes.

The point we can all share, though, is that most people really don't grasp what irony is. But it's nice to hear that all these lovely people don't get that and do plan to boycott something that they haven't even seen yet...because X and Y got Q'd.

Obviously whatever comes next will suck. Obviously.

I was forced to order something that will be shipped UPS by the fact that I did not KNOW that the company's default option was UPS. I still hate UPS entirely. Let's see if my order ever gets to me!

I'm wondering if I might know some of what you are talking about.

I don't know if you know where I work, but if you DO know where I work, I bet you know exactly what I'm talking about.

If you play any games that come out of Seattle, you know where I work. You know, if the games in question have been around for thirty or forty years. Those kinds of games.

It's like a cryptic crossword!

I don't have specific knowledge, but the behaviour you describe is very familiar to me.

Dude...

It totally sucks that X and Y got Q'd! As a matter of fact, the Q-ing of X and Y totally mitigates the absolute coolness of V!

The less said about W, the better.

You're not going to tell me, are you?

*g* You just know posting something with a cut-tag like that is going to make everyone read it.

It actually sort of amazes me to find out that this is true. And yet I simply considered it truth in advertising: it's EXTREMELY cryptic and makes NO sense to anyone who's not, basically, on the same side of the same floor of the same building as me.

Yet I needed to vent a little.
