I still have no power. I am about to grab my turnip and make threats at the sky and the uncaring god behind it.

Hilariously, my parents lost power for part of the day a few days ago, in an amazing thunderstorm. Welcome to global warming.

I had no idea the majestic turnip had such power over the heavens and it's occupants. Are these special turnips that you grow or are all turnips so blessed with the mighty power?

I tried to find a screen capture but they were all unclear, so you get TEXT! It's from Gone With The Wind, where Scarlet's standing in the field at Tara clutching a root vegetable of some kind and saying "As god is my witness I'll never be hungry again!"

Much like "Play it again, Sam," that's probably actually wrong from what happens, but it's what I remember. And if you were joking that you weren't sure about that, I'm in need of sleep too, which makes this SERIOUS THREAD.
