I'm more sort of testing this out than anything. I am a terrible, terrible person about crossposting, in large part because I don't like true crossposting and in large part because I never think to actually check anything other than LJ.

This, obviously, makes my life very hard.

However, it's pretty interesting to be on the ground floor of this. I'm going to try to make more of a habit of checking this, if only because I know some of the comms I'm part of are considering mirroring here; I'll be interested to see if that actually happens. One reason GJ and IJ never really caught on for me was that there were way too many comms I didn't actually have mirrored elsewhere; it's all fine to talk about moving house as a result of the latest LJ fuckery, but when you're essentially moving to another country, that's a bit different. I'm not sure if DW is in the same country or not yet.

I just hope this doesn't turn into Facebook, where I basically put up the same post every few months and wander away.

It might be good to figure out a PURPOSE for this version of "me", I suppose. I don't know what yet, though.
